Events

Inform organises international conferences and seminars that are open to the public, as well as specialist workshops and other events in association with other bodies.

Conferences

Inform occasionally organises large international conferences, attended by several hundred scholars and others interested in the topics under discussion. For details see past events

Seminars

Each year, Inform organises two day-long public seminars on particular topics and issues. These are attended by counsellors, clergy, scholars, researchers, educationalists, social workers, members of religious movements, their families, former members, the media - and anyone else who is interested in gaining and exchanging information. Details about the next public seminar can be found here

The themes of past seminars have included New Religious Movements and Violence, New Religious Movements and Sexuality and New Religious Movements and the Millennium. A full list of past seminars and conferences is available here.

Public Talks

She also spoke at seminars at Tokyo University, at Ben Gurion University in Israel, at Olomouc University in the Czech among other speaking engagements.

Also in 2014, Dr. van Eck Duymaer van Twist presented papers at the BASR (British Association for the Study of Religions), at seminars at Goldsmith's University and at King's College London. Dr. Newcombe was interviewed on the BBC World News TV show IMPACT (South Asian Television) to discuss the Church of Almighty God/Eastern Lightening and on a number of local BBC radio stations on the subject of yoga in church halls.

Staff also gave talks at the request of schools and other organisations.
